The Boston Celtics have taken a commanding lead over the Dallas Mavericks in the first half of their NBA playoff game. The Celtics currently hold a 63-42 advantage, thanks to a dominant performance on both ends of the court.
The Celtics were led by Jayson Tatum, who scored 18 points in the first half. Kemba Walker and Jaylen Brown each added 12 points, while Marcus Smart chipped in with 10.
The Mavericks struggled to keep pace with the Celtics' offense, shooting just 36% from the field. Luka Doncic led the way for Dallas with 16 points, but he was the only Maverick to score in double figures.
The Celtics' defense was also impressive, holding the Mavericks to just 24% shooting from three-point range. The Mavericks were also outrebounded by the Celtics 27-15.
